Although the membership of the Spitfire Society is truly international (as were - and are - Spitfire pilots and ground crews) at present the majority of the members live within the parent isles. A regional structure has evolved to cater for this, and is illustrated below.
Overseas members, although welcomed and valuable members of the Society, are generally so thinly scattered as to make a local grouping difficult to work. There is now a USA Chairman, however.
